BRIAN MAXWELL

Brian has been a full-time entertainer since founding Maxwell Classic Productions in 2009. From humble beginnings with his own self-hosted podcast, Brian would go on to produce hundreds of podcasts for his clients, several of which appeared on iTunes most downloaded podcast charts. In addition to audio production, Maxwell Classic Productions would eventually branch out into website design, videography, photography, video editing, and consultations.

In 2023, Brian founded Retinal Pro Wrestling with the goal of creating a more diverse and inclusive environment in independent professional wrestling.

Brian received a B.S. in Video & Film Production, summa cum laude with full Honors distinction from Middle Tennessee State University where he was a 2022 Buchanon Transfer Fellow at MTSU, the 2024 MTSU Community Service Award winner, the 2024 June Anderson Center Outstanding Student Award winner, and the first recipient of the Phi Kappa Phi Honors Society at MTSU graduate school scholarship. He is currently seeking his M.S. in Media and Communication from MTSU, where he also works as a graduate teaching assistant.

Brian accepted the Harold Love Community Service Award from the state of Tennessee in April of 2024.Brian began his career in entertainment in 2009 with the creation of Bad Boardie Productions, which would eventually become Maxwell Classic Productions. The name change was to signify the growth of the company from a solo effort to a family business. Brian now works side by side with his oldest son Mike on all major projects.

In 2023, Maxwell Classic Productions launched its live sports division with Retinal Pro Wrestling shows in Tennessee and Alabama.

MIKE MAXWELL

Mike joined Maxwell Classic Productions in 2022. He works as a production assistant with his father Brian on all major projects. Mike is currently attending Middle Tennessee State University where he majors in Video & Film Production with minors in Mass Communication and Honors studies.

In Summer 2024, Mike was hired by MTSU as an equipment cage rental agent. He works hand in hand with professors and students to coordinate and maintain rental audio and video equipment.

In Fall 2025, Mike was hired as the Video Production intern for the Honors College at MTSU. In addition to his rental cage duties and internship hours, Mike also accepted the role of teaching assistant in the Multi-Camera I Production class at MTSU.
